Exclusive Bridal Beauty: Meet the Founders of Exclusively Brides

When it comes to your wedding day, looking and feeling your best is just as important as saying “I do.” Enter Exclusively Brides, a luxury bridal beauty service founded by two local professionals, Jody and Faye, who bring over 20 years of experience in bridal makeup and hairstyling.

More than just a hair and makeup service, Exclusively Brides offers a complete beauty journey, ensuring brides feel confident, radiant, and stress-free from their engagement to the big day.

We sat down with Jody and Faye to find out how their collaboration began, what makes their service unique, and their exciting plans for the future—including a must-attend beauty event this March!

Hi both! Tell us who you are and what you do…

Jody: I’m a freelance bridal and occasion makeup artist with 20 years of experience.

Faye: I’m a freelance bridal hair stylist, also with over 20 years in the industry.

How did you begin this journey?

Jody: We were both working independently but met during a styled shoot at Flore House in June. While working together, we realised we shared a passion for creating something more. That’s when we decided to launch Exclusively Brides!

Faye: We saw a gap in the market for a luxury, bride-only service. We wanted to go beyond traditional bridal hair and makeup by offering a complete beauty journey leading up to the wedding day.

Jody: We also want to expand into education, offering ‘Spotlight Training Sessions.’ So many people say, “I wish I could do this myself!” We thought it would be fun to create group experiences—a girls’ day out with hair and makeup tips, lunch, and a chance to learn together. We’re planning to take these sessions across the UK, from Northamptonshire and beyond!

What can people expect from Exclusively Brides?

Faye: Exclusively Brides is a luxury, bride-only service that goes beyond the typical bridal beauty experience. Instead of just showing up for a trial and then the wedding day, we take our brides on a full beauty journey.

Jody: We start by understanding their specific needs—skin type, hair type, lifestyle—and put a treatment plan in place. This could include skincare routines, haircuts, extensions—whatever is needed to get them looking and feeling their best.

Faye: One of the biggest differences is that we do hair and makeup trials together. We also arrange for dress try-ons on the same day, so brides can see their complete look come together in one go—something no one else is currently offering!

Jody: We also stay with the bride after the ceremony for touch-ups, ensuring everything looks perfect throughout the day. It’s a truly personalised experience, allowing the bride to feel stress-free and completely taken care of.

What do you love the most about what you do?

Faye: The transformation! Seeing someone’s confidence grow is incredible. When we arrive, they may be nervous, but by the end, they’re glowing, feeling their absolute best.

Jody: It’s that ‘wow’ moment. We’ve seen brides come in with little confidence and leave feeling amazing. We’re both so passionate about what we do, and by focusing solely on the bride, we can ensure she has the best possible experience.

Tell us about any exciting upcoming events…

Jody: We’re hosting an exciting event on March 23rd at Sedgebrook Hall from 10 AM to 4 PM. This event isn’t just for brides – this is for anyone!

Faye: The day will include a hands-on hair demo where I’ll teach easy-to-achieve Hollywood waves—no experience needed! It’s perfect for anyone wanting to learn hairstyling techniques they can recreate at home.

Jody: In the afternoon, I’ll be demonstrating our signature soft glam makeup look. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, interact, and have fun. Plus, refreshments and lunch are included!

Faye: It’s a great way to learn, have fun, and treat yourself to a day of beauty and confidence-building. We can’t wait to see everyone there!
