Bells Kia brings Northampton the future of electric vans – Kia’s first ‘Platform Beyond Vehicle’ range

If you’ve ever thought your work van could do with a little more spark (and we mean the electric kind), Bells Kia has something exciting for you. The Northampton dealership has been chosen as one of Kia’s official PBV Centres – Platform Beyond Vehicle – introducing a brand-new line-up of fully electric vans right here in town.

And this isn’t just one van. The first wave includes the PV5 Cargo, PV5 Passenger, Crew Cab, and a Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle. Even better, the range will keep growing, with the larger PV7 set to arrive in 2027.

From late 2025, Northampton’s PBV Centre will be the go-to spot for Kia’s professional business vans in the UK – and the only place you can buy and service Kia’s PV5. Everything is being purpose-built for commercial vehicle operators and fleet owners, with dedicated facilities, specialist equipment, high-capacity ramps, and a team trained specifically for the job.

The headline act? The Kia PV5, the brand’s first fully electric commercial vehicle. It made its UK debut at the CV Show in May 2025, with orders now open. Whether you’re transporting goods, passengers, or need adaptable layouts, the PV5 is a zero-emissions workhorse designed from the ground up – no conversions, no compromises.

Kia expects between 3,000 and 4,000 PV5s to hit the roads in the first full year, growing to around 17,000 PBV sales by 2030 as the line-up expands.
