You know that moment when the festive feeling suddenly hits? Well, at Stanwick Lakes it’s already in full swing — the Christmas trees have arrived, the lights are twinkling, and yes, the seasonal events are disappearing off the booking system faster than you can say “mulled wine, please.”

And because their ever-popular Lantern Walk and Lakeside Carols nights sold out (again… and quickly), there’s a little treat for you: an extra date, for the first time ever.

A third magical night — Monday 22 December

So here’s your chance to join the glow. Picture it: you wrapped up warm, wandering around Solstice Lake by lantern light, then settling in at the outdoor theatre for carols that genuinely feel like they’re straight out of a Christmas film. It’s simple. It’s enchanting. And it absolutely delivers the festive mood boost you’ve been waiting for.

Bring a torch, a lantern, or go all-out and deck yourself in fairy lights (no judgement — in fact, highly encouraged). There’ll be festive food, warming drinks, and — because he’s a busy man this time of year — Father Christmas himself will be popping in for a visit. If you’re quick, you can even book a trip to his grotto beforehand, as it’s one of his final evenings before he jets back to the North Pole.
Booking required. Free parking with your Lantern Walk ticket.

More festive moments to uncover

Of course, the Lantern Walk isn’t the only thing drawing people in. Stanwick Lakes is absolutely packed with festive goodness this year.
