If you’ve ever found yourself unexpectedly singing Everybody Get Up in the car, this one’s for you.
Five are heading to Northampton next summer for what promises to be one of the biggest nostalgia-fuelled nights of 2026, bringing their headline show to Delapré Abbey on Friday 24 July.
Part of the brand-new Live at the Abbey summer concert series, the open-air event will see one of Britain’s most successful boybands perform some of the biggest pop anthems of the late 90s and early 2000s against the backdrop of one of Northamptonshire’s most iconic venues.
And let’s be honest – there are few things more likely to unite a crowd than thousands of people simultaneously remembering every word to songs they haven’t heard in years.
A Summer Night Packed with Hits
Five sold more than 20 million records worldwide during their chart-topping career, producing a string of unforgettable hits including Keep On Movin’, If Ya Gettin’ Down, Everybody Get Up and When The Lights Go Out.
Now they’re bringing that energy to Northampton for an evening that’s set to combine classic pop nostalgia with a festival atmosphere.
Joining them on the bill will be The Wanted 2.0, with additional special guests still to be announced.
Gates open at 4pm, giving concert-goers plenty of time to soak up the atmosphere before the music gets underway.

Live at the Abbey Arrives in Northampton
The concert forms part of Live at the Abbey, a new summer music series taking place at Delapré Abbey between 17 and 24 July 2026.
Across three nights, organisers are promising an impressive mix of artists spanning multiple genres, with performers including Five, ABC, Wet Wet Wet, Tinie Tempah and Wilkinson already confirmed.
The setting itself is likely to be a major draw. Delapré Abbey has become one of Northampton’s most recognisable event venues, offering a unique backdrop for large-scale outdoor concerts while remaining easily accessible for visitors from across the region.
Planning Your Visit
The event is open to under-18s, although organisers stress that anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets start from £47.50 and are available now.
