Delapré Abbey
Delapré Abbey will show you how to make good use of the natural materials sourced from its grounds at its Spring Wreath Making Workshop.
There are two sessions – 10am-midday and 2pm-4pm – on March 22 and March 24, so that you can learn the art of making a wreath from scratch using buff willow as the base, before decorating with natural foliage and pretty spring flowers.
The historic setting also has its Easter Eggstravaganza from March 29 – April 1, with a Walled Garden egg hunt, or a house trail including a petting zoo. Or purchase the package that entitles little folks to do both activities.

Wicksteed Park
Wicksteed Park will be holding their egg-citing Easter Extravaganza from 29th March – 14th April. Families will be able to enjoy a day of exciting attractions and rides.

West Lodge Farm
Head to West Lodge Farm for a fun filled family day this Easter Holiday. You will get to enjoy a whole range of activities including an egg and spoon obstacle course before meeting the Easter Bunny, completing an Easter Egg hunt, face painting, plus lots more! From Friday 29th March – Sunday 14th April you can enjoy Spring at the Estate at Chester House. The egg-ceptional activities includes a spring hunt, bottle feeding lambs, meeting the Easter Bunny, family crafting, and more. Northampton Town Centre
Families in Northampton have been invited to help a team of ‘Doggie Detectives’ solve the mystery of the Easter Bunny’s missing friends in an augmented reality trail around the town centre.
The trail, organised by Northampton Town Centre Business Improvement District (BID) and delivered by High Street Safari, will run from Monday 11th March until Monday 1st April – giving families free entertainment during the school holidays. Find out more here.
Easter pottery painting at Stanwick Lakes
Head over to Stanwick Lakes between 30th March – 14th April for pottery painting. You’ll be able to decorate lots of pieces such as plates and mugs which is brilliant to keep the little ones occupied. The pottery is walk-in and doesn’t require bookings. Bella & Co hold messy play and craft groups for toddlers – 7 years old. The groups include a mixture of themed messy play, themed crafts, dedicated painting area, water play, hand / foot themed crafts and lots more.

Evenley Wood will be holding their annual Easter Hunt until 14th April. Simply collect your map and follow the arrows to find some spring friends around the garden. Animals in Need
Animals in Need is holding a Spring Fayre on March 31, with all proceeds going to provide vital funds for the animals in their care while they wait to find their forever home.

The Easter Egg Trail will take participants off around Abington Park Museum with every child receiving a chocolate egg prize. The trail will run from March 29 – April 14 and costs £2.
Or how about getting creative with the Pom Pom Animals workshop? Choose from Easter chicks, bouncing bunnies or silly sheep. Alternatively, make your own weird and wonderful new creature.
