Christmas Frost Fair | 22nd and 23rd November, 10am – 5pm
The launch of our Christmas celebrations starts with the return of the much-loved Frost Fair. With twinkling stalls, a magical atmosphere and plenty to browse, this festive favourite brings together a sparkling showcase of local artisan makers, crafters, and independent sellers. It really is the perfect place to discover unique handmade gifts, stocking fillers, and thoughtful presents (with a few treasures you might just want to keep for yourself!).

Christmas Wreath Making | 24th and 26th November
Make your own Christmas Wreath, to beautifully adorn your front door or as decoration this festive season. Guided through using natural materials, learn the art of making a wreath from scratch and decorating with natural foliage and Christmas decorations. Winter Children’s Trail | From 29th November
Our festive trail will return this winter! Families will once again be able to follow a fun seasonal trail around the site – and everyone who completes it will receive a small festive prize.

Santa Run | 30th November, from 8am
Whether you’re a first-time runner, a seasoned competitor or simply looking to soak up the festive spirit with a fun (and possibly fancy-dressed!) challenge, our Winter run at Stanwick Lakes is the perfect event. Set against the unbeatable backdrop of our nature reserve, the course offers trail tracks, beautiful lakeside views, and three distances to choose from — 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon.

Midwinter | 14th December, 11am – 3pm
A mystical day, spent outdoors, for the whole family filled with festivities and enchanting entertainment, celebrating thousands of years of traditions and ancient beliefs. There will be plenty for the family to enjoy with warming food and refreshments available throughout the day.

Lantern Walk and Lakeside Carols | 19th and 20th December, from 5pm
Our bestselling event, year after year. Join us for a magical, lantern-lit walk around Solstice Lake followed by carols in our outdoor theatre. A perfectly enchanting evening event to really get into the Christmas mood. All you need to do is wrap up warm and bring a torch, lantern or simply cover yourself in fairy lights! Festive food and refreshments will be available to purchase.
