The Plough at Shutlanger
The award-winning pub is situated in the quaint village of Shutlanger. Their beautiful courtyard allows you to enjoy delicious food in the sunshine. Plus, it’s kid and dog friendly! The menu includes incredible dishes and we’d highly recommend their burgers!

The Windhover
The Windhover is another popular location in Northampton and has attracted even more visitors since its refurbishment last year. Not only will you enjoy the decor, but the food is just as impressive! A great place to visit on a sunny day.
The Cromwell Cottage, Kislingbury
The loved cosy pub in Kislingbury is a wonderful spot for alfresco dining and drinks. With everything from cocktails, to fine wines and a tasty menu, this pub never disappoints. They also offer colouring to keep the little ones entertained.
The Tollemache Arms
The Tolly is an award-winning popular pub based in Harrington. Their pub garden is huge and has an incredible view of lots of greenery. It’s a fantastic place to chill out and switch off whilst taking in these gorgeous views. Their drinks menu is plentiful and their menu never fails to impress.

The gorgeous Fox and Hounds in Harlestone is another favourite pub amongst locals in Northampton. Whether you want to admire the interior or take in the garden view, it sure won’t disappoint. You could also visit here for a refreshing drink after taking a walk through Harlestone Firs.
The Narrow Boat – Weedon
The Narrow Boat has a beautiful canal-side beer garden which is the best spot in the area on a sunny day. Enjoy award-winning food or just sit back, relax and enjoy the boats as they go by.
The Navigation – Stoke Bruerne
This beautiful riverside pub is a great way to take in the beauty of Northamptonshire. This is a popular stop amongst walkers around the local area. Add this one to the list for something scenic and enjoy a drink canal-side.
The Brampton Halt – Chapel Brampton
If you’ve ever visited the Brampton Halt then you’ll know just how large this garden is. It’s a great place to let the kids run around and it comes with a lovely view across the lake.
