It’s official – Northampton College students have done themselves (and the town) proud, clocking up some seriously impressive results after months of sheer graft.

From salon chairs to construction sites, from classrooms to digital hubs, students across the board have been racking up 100% pass rates in key subjects – proving that when you put in the hours, good things happen.

Hair and beauty students on Level 3 technical programmes nailed a clean sweep of passes, graduating with the skills to step straight into jobs. Over in Early Years and Education, every single T Level student walked away with a Merit – a huge boost for the childcare sector, which is crying out for trained professionals.

The academic side of things was just as strong: AS Level History saw a 100% pass rate (with 76% bagging grades A–C), while Media Studies wasn’t far behind at 81% A–C. First-year T Level students in Design, Surveying and Planning, plus Digital Support, also scored a full set of passes.

Principal Jason Lancaster couldn’t hide his pride: “We’re delighted to see another exceptional performance from our ambitious Level 3 students. We set the bar high, and their hard work and dedication have paid off in a big way. These results open doors – whether that’s further study or heading straight into the workplace. It’s also a huge credit to our staff, who’ve been there every step of the way.”

And the winning streak didn’t stop there. The BTEC Level 3 Extended Diplomas in Civil Engineering, Travel and Tourism, and Forensic and Criminal Investigation all hit 100% pass rates. The Level 3 Metal Fabricator apprenticeship also saw every single learner succeed – including Daniel McMillan, fresh from his Gold medal win at the national World Skills competition.

Level 2 students had their own moment in the spotlight, with perfect pass rates in Health and Social Care, HGV maintenance and repair, and adult counselling skills.

For those not heading to university straight away, Northampton College has a stack of university-level courses – including HNDs across arts and STEM subjects – ready to keep the momentum going.
