The Northamptonshire Business Network (NNBN) is calling on local people to show their support for Northamptonshire Day by joining celebrations in Northampton’s Market Square.

This year’s event will bring together residents, visitors and organisations to showcase the county’s craftsmanship, innovation and community spirit. Inspired by St Crispin’s Day, Northamptonshire Day has grown into a celebration of everything that makes the county unique.

“Northamptonshire Day is a day we should all mark in our diaries and be proud of what we do in the county,” said NNBN director Simon Cox. “We’re blessed to be in such an incredible part of the UK with great transport links, beautiful places to visit and amazing history. We have a university, colleges, historic houses, top-level sport and a strong business community — from entrepreneurs and small businesses to global brands — all driving our economy.”

Simon added that NNBN is proud to support the county’s tourism sector as a partner within the Local Visitor Economy Partnership. The organisation continues to work alongside public and private sector partners, including the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce, to champion the county’s businesses, charities and community organisations.
